Our tours start in piazza Santa Maria Novella, (a five-minute walk from the train station) in the middle of the square, between the two columns (obelisks).
Our tour guide will be waiting for ten minutes before the tour start. You will recognize our tour guide by the small flag of Florence with the red lily.
Galileo Galilei Airport is located in Pisa. This is the main airport in Tuscany. You can get Florence in less than one hour (80km) through a punctual train and bus system and has an easy access to the motorway.
Santa Maria Novella railway station has a good connection with the main italian cities like Venice (two hours), Milan and Rome (one and half hour).
Booking some time before, you can also get a good price ticket from the two main
companies of the high-speed railway line (TAV):
Trenitalia
and Italo Train.
The A1 motorway, the main road artery linking the north and south of the country, runs past Florence. The A11 motorway link the city with the west (Tyrrhenian Sea) coast.
On A1 motorway, between the gates of Firenze Scandicci and Firenze Impruneta is located the Parcheggio Villa Costanza that is the first “Drive and Tramway ” car park in Italy.
You can park your car without leaving the Highway, take the Tramvia and reach the center of Florence in just a few minutes. For tourism, shopping and business, Villa Costanza is the ideal gateway to Florence.
